Welcome to Dolancers. By accessing or using this platform, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “Client”, “Freelancer”, “Dolancer”) and Dolancers Ltd (“Dolancers”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”).
Dolancers acts ONLY as a technology platform connecting Clients with Freelancers. Dolancers is not a party to any contract between users and accepts no liability for any actions, losses or conduct of users.
1. Definitions
Platform: Dolancers.com and all related services
Freelancer/Dolancer: a user offering services
Client: a user purchasing services
Services/Gigs: work provided by Freelancers
User: any person using the platform
2. Nature of Service (VERY IMPORTANT LEGAL PROTECTION)
Dolancers is not an employer, agency, recruiter, representative, or manager of any user.
Dolancers:
does not guarantee the quality of work
does not verify user identities unless required
does not supervise or monitor work
does not become involved in disputes
does not provide legal, financial, or business advice
All contracts and agreements are strictly between Clients and Freelancers.
By using the platform, you acknowledge that Dolancers cannot and will not be sued for any loss, damage, dispute, or wrongdoing caused by a user.
3. User Accounts
Users must:
provide accurate information
not impersonate others
not engage in illegal activities
be at least 18 years old
Dolancers may suspend or terminate accounts at its sole discretion without notice.
4. Payment & Fees
Dolancers provides a payment gateway for convenience only.
Dolancers is not responsible for:
failed payments
chargebacks
fraud
disputes
incorrect details entered by users
All fees are clearly displayed on the platform. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law.
5. Freelancer Responsibilities
Freelancers must:
deliver work as agreed
respect deadlines
not upload harmful or illegal content
own the rights to any material submitted
Freelancers are independent contractors, not employees of Dolancers.
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients must:
pay for services ordered
communicate clearly
not request illegal work
not abuse or harass freelancers
Clients accept that Dolancers is not liable for missed deadlines, poor work, cancellations or disputes.
7. Disputes
Dolancers may, at its discretion, assist in resolving disputes, but is not obligated to do so.
Dolancers is not liable for:
losses
damages
delays
poor quality work
non-delivery
communication breakdowns
Users agree to resolve disputes directly between themselves.
8. No Warranty (Maximum Legal Protection)
Dolancers provides the platform “as is” and “as available”.
Dolancers makes no warranties, express or implied, including:
fitness for a particular purpose
uninterrupted access
error-free performance
accuracy of information
Users use the platform entirely at their own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability (LEGALLY CRITICAL)
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Dolancers, its directors, employees, partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from:
use of the platform
user actions
loss of data
business interruption
lost profits
injuries
disputes between users
In all cases, Dolancers’ total liability will not exceed £1.00 GBP.
10. Indemnity (Fully Protects Dolancers)
Users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dolancers from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses, including legal fees, arising from:
their use of the platform
disputes between users
violation of these Terms
violation of third-party rights
illegal or unethical behaviour
This clause makes the user, not Dolancers, responsible for legal outcomes.
11. Intellectual Property
All platform content (logos, UI, code, text, graphics) is owned by Dolancers.
Users may not:
copy
modify
distribute
resell
reverse engineer
Dolancers may remove any content that violates intellectual property laws.
12. Account Termination
Dolancers may suspend or terminate accounts:
for violations
for suspicious behaviour
for chargebacks
without notice
Users accept that they will not be compensated for termination.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by:
United Kingdom Law
All disputes must be resolved exclusively through:
Binding arbitration in London, UK
Users waive the right to participate in:
class actions
collective lawsuits
public court proceedings
This protects Dolancers from legal exposure.
14. Changes to Terms
Dolancers may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform means you accept all changes.
